Shania Twain “Still The One” to Fiserv Forum when it comes to country and pop on Halloween

She almost single-handedly led the country to pop crossover boom of the 1990s, and exactly 25 years since the “Come On Over” collection shattered sales records, Shania Twain is back and as amazing as ever.

But rather than merely addressing the anniversary, the Canadian singer/songwriter/guitar player is staying current with “Queen Of Me” and filling up the majority of the state of the art Fiserv Forum In Milwaukee.

Shania TwainA Shania show is always a reason to get dressed up, though there was extra glam in the stands considering it was Halloween, a mood matched on stage thanks to the fabulous looking 58-year-old sporting a Milwaukee Bucks jacket and jersey made into a dress.

But as was always the case, Twain’s tunes were the top priority and she delivered them all on a multi-level stage, backed by a four-piece band, a pair of background singers/dancers and super-sized visuals.

In fact, fans may very well have been “Waking Up Dreaming” as the headliner shot straight “Up” out of a cart in the crowd and dove straight into smashes such as “Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)” and  “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!”

But for every up-tempo gem, there were nearly as many beautiful ballads, including “Come On Over” and “Still The One,” both featuring Twain unplugged and seated, plus tons of audience interactions and selfies.

“Giddy Up!” brought everyone back to their feet where they remained for “Any Man Of Mine,” “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” and “Honey, I’m Home,” to name but a few.

Shania TwainA mega medley allowed Twain to touch on special requests, opener Lily Rose joined for “Party Of Two” and the headliner even threatened “(If You’re Not In It For Love) I’m Outta Here!”

Luckily, she returned in the original and still stunning “That Don’t Impress Me Much” leopard dress, then conducted the scream-a-long “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” in what went down as a joyful holiday for the history books.
