It barely took a year for SOMBR to make the jump from instantaneously selling out clubs, such as Radius locally, and drawing massive crowds at festivals, including Lollapalooza, to headlining arenas.

The indie rock/alternative pop troubadour showed the packed United Center exactly why on the “You Are The Reason” Tour, from the opening tracks “we never dated,” “i wish i knew how to quit you” and “under the mat,” alongside the rest of the breakthrough album “I Barely Know Her” and a string of even more recent singles.

Having England’s baroque pop/art rock band The Last Dinner Party and the lo-fi bedroom stylings of Hannah Jadagu open only sealed the deal when it came to a carefully curated night of nothing but today’s top talents.
