Besides being the best-selling R&B group of all time with sales of over 64 million albums, Boyz II Men are also amongst the most decorated thanks to four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, just as many Soul Train Awards and three Billboard Awards.

It’s no wonder why the trio comprised of Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman sold out the state-of-the-art Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana, which once again lived up to its reputation of attracting the A-listers.

The core group and their seasoned four-piece band got warmed up in the recent past’s mash-up of “Believe Us,” “Roll Wit Me” and “Don’t Stop,” the latter rolled into a tribute to Gary’s own Michael Jackson via “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough.”

Boyz II Men soon combined its own “Water Runs Dry” with 112’s “Cupid,” followed by personal powerhouses tracing various shades of romance, including “On Bended Knee,” “Please Don’t Go,” “Uhh Ahh” and “4 Seasons Of Loneliness.”

Boyz II MenThe guys continued switching between genres and generations when it came to a medley of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” The Guess Who’s “American Woman” and Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven.”

No matter who the material belonged to, their harmonies were flawless, especially throughout “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday” and a soulful cover of Journey’s “Open Arms.”

Mariah Carey might not have appeared, but all the ladies in the audience enhanced the “One Sweet Day” collaboration, plus the fellas passed out roses during “I’ll Make Love To You” on the way to the even more eternal ballad “End Of The Road.”

Luckily though, there was one extra moment in store as the Hard Rock rose to its feet and danced to the New Jack Swing grooves of “Motownphilly,” while Boyz II Men broke out the classic choreography and ensured they were indeed “back again” and better than ever.Boyz II Men
