Leave it to LA Concert Group to once again bring together a bountiful bill of eclectic artists who rarely, if ever, tour through America, which in the case of the “Euro Nights USA” Tour, includes Boney M. featuring Liz Mitchell, Samantha Fox and Bad Boys Blue.

All are enormous stars overseas, but also had no trouble filling up the Copernicus Center and essentially turned it into a dance floor for an endless evening of constant grooves, whether they be delivered as disco, funk, reggae, house, pop or rock.

Boney M.Mitchell was with Boney M. from the very beginning, who alongside her latest troupe of top-shelf musicians and backers, took faithful who traveled from the surrounding region and beyond back to the late 1970s and ‘80s, exuding positivity, spirituality and an all-around “Sunny” disposition.

The Jamaican/British singer continued leading the band through essentials such as “Painter Man,” “Daddy Cool,” “Brown Girl In The Ring” and the recent viral sensation “Rivers Of Babylon,” prior to the full cast and family members joining her during the rousing finale of “Rasputin.”

Right beforehand, England’s Samantha Fox and her three-piece band proudly proclaimed “I Wanna Have Some Fun,” despite technical difficulties becoming immediately apparent, yet the singer/songwriter/model was determined “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now” and still managed to send a fabulously fun reminder that “Naughty Girls (Need Love Too).”

She apologized as the problems persisted, and ironically, cut “I Surrender (To The Spirit Of the Night)” short, but was back and much better come “Touch Me (I Want Your Body),” plus promised she’d return, which if the merchandise line was any indication, can’t come soon enough.

Boney M.Germany’s Bad Boys Blue, led by Englishman John McInerney, got the party started with a bunch of synth and bass bangers, including “A Train To Nowhere,” “A World Without You (Michelle),” “Come Back And Stay,” “I Totally Miss You” and more.

Yet “You’re A Woman” was the supreme standout, starting a massive call and response chain as it brought another slice of club life to an enthusiastic Copernicus Center, who like the other fortunate cities this limited venture is visiting on these shores, got a tantalizing taste of the enduring European scene, if only for one enjoyable evening.
